Following the flooding in Lydney on Sunday, the Practice is focusing on helping our most vulnerable patients, especially those affected by the floods, on Monday. We have had to rearrange some appointments that were booked for this morning, to allow us to do this. If we have had to postpone your appointment, please accept our apologies. We will contact you to rearrange it.
From 10 am today (Monday), we have been able to resume booked appointments. If you have an appointment today, it is fine to attend the practice as planned (we will also be contacting all patients with appointments today, to confirm this).
Please contact the Practice if you need help but please bear with us, as response times may be longer than normal. If it is a medical emergency, dial 999. You can also obtain non-emergency medical advice by dialling 111.
Forest Pharmacy, on Newerne Street Lydney, is flooded, which is affecting some of our patients, although the Pharmacy is able to dispense some medication. We are making arrangements for patients to obtain medication from other pharmacies, if necessary.
Thank you to all our patients for your understanding and support.

“Due to the significant risk from flooding, Lydney Practice will be closed tomorrow (Monday).
Please do not attend the surgery on Monday unless advised by the Practice team or the Practice Facebook page that it is safe to do so.
Please do not contact the Practice except for urgent medical needs, as the team need to prioritise accordingly. Please use NHS 111 if you are unsure what service you need or need general health advice.
If you have an appointment scheduled, the Practice team will make contact with you to make arrangements for your care.
The Practice are grateful for your patience and understanding at this challenging time and will provide further updates as necessary.”
