Overview of NHS Gloucestershire’s Workforce Equality Information
Workforce Equality
NHS Gloucestershire ICB produces an annual Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES), Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) and Gender Pay Audit (GPA). The data included in these reports is up until 31st March 2023.
The information included in the attached presentations comes from the ICB’s electronic staff record as well as key questions within the annual staff survey 2022. Some trend data is included along with key actions for that year 2023.
The next round of reporting commences in April 2024 and at the end of that month the ICB will publish the WRES, WDES and GPA for the year ending 31st March 2024 and will include the 2023 staff survey findings. We will also include a short report on the actions that were undertaken in 2023 and the progress made.

People Strategy for One Gloucestershire
Across the Gloucestershire health and social care system we recognise our people are our greatest asset. This has been the case since the NHS was founded 75 years ago and most recently was unequivocally demonstrated by health and social care colleagues in our response to the pandemic.
Our shared People Strategy for One Gloucestershire incorporates four foundational themes: Future Workforce Planning Digital; Data and Technology; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; and Leadership and Culture.
