The Department of Health and Social Care has launched a period of engagement to inform the 10-Year Health Plan.
Members of the public, as well as health and care professionals, are being invited to share their experiences, views and ideas for the future of the NHS using the online platform Change.NHS.uk, which will be live until the start of next year, and available via the NHS App.
The 10-Year Health Plan will be published in spring 2025 and will be underpinned by three key themes – hospital to community, analogue to digital, and sickness to prevention.
We would encourage you to share your views over the coming days and weeks and working with partners, we will ensure that our future strategic plans are aligned and continue to address the priorities of our local population.
More details on other ways staff and local people can have their say will be made available in the coming weeks.
The launch of the 10-Year Health Plan engagement follows publication of Lord Darzi’s Independent Investigation of the National Health Service in England. You can read NHS Gloucestershire’s response to the Report here.
