Visit the website and answer a few quick questions to find self-care advice or be directed to the most appropriate service. If necessary, a nurse, doctor or other trained professional will call you back.
If you cannot access NHS 111 online, or the person you’re calling about is under 5 years of age, call 111 to speak to a trained call advisor. If they think you need an ambulance, one will be sent straight away.
NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
